It is that time of the year again, when the huge BlogHer conference is about to be underway. My ticket to get through the door is bought, and I am thrilled to be attending in beautiful San Diego.
Though my ticket to get through the door is purchased, I am still looking for a great sponsor or two to help covert additional costs. Previous events I was sponsored by companies such as Earth Mama Angel Baby and the (now closed) HotSlings brand baby carriers. This year I hope to find a company or two that has similar values and ideas that I would be proud to sponsor.
About me:
I am a single mom of three, that focuses on living simply and naturally. Being a mother is incredibly important to me, and I strive to do that to the fullest of my ability. Much of my writing focuses on being a single mother and living minimally, as well as discussions about natural, organic, and healthy products for families and homes.
I am also a survivor of postpartum depression, and depression related to bipolar disorder. I have made an effort to reach out to other parents who have similar circumstances in their own parenting battles.
What I need:
I’m looking to find a sponsor to underwrite my trip to BlogHer 2011. I’ll be there for four days, and including flights, hotels and expenses, I’ll need approximately $2,000.
While there, I’ll be blogging two blog posts a day as well as multiple updates to my Twitter page (with 360 followers and a Klout score of 53,) as well as to my Facebook Fan Page.
You can expect to have your logo on every blog post, and mentioned in up to two Twitter posts per day, as well as being the Profile photo for my FB Fan Page. I’ll pose with your logo for the profile photo, so people still know it’s me. Additionally, I’ll gladly wear any promotional clothing you have, such as a sweatshirt or tour jacket, and I’ll feature a sticker of your logo on my laptop, which will be with me during the conference. I can attach small stickers featuring your company logo and information to my personal business cards, which I will be handing out.
Finally, I hope to reach out to other bloggers and tell them what I’m doing and how I’m doing it, and will obviously mention your name as my official underwriter for my trip to BlogHer 2011.
