About

About me: My name is Summer, in case you couldn’t tell. I’m brash and loud, opinionated and unapologetic, and pretty sure that I’m always right (even when I’m wrong). I curse too much, tend to flake out too often, and love getting into a good rant.

I’m a divorced mom of three, living the slow life in Southern Texas. I’m officially bipolar, I have dreadlocks and social anxiety, and I like doing things like baking bread and canning sauces. I’m a tree hugger at heart, and followed the Attachment Parenting style with my children. I’m currently trying to make ends meet as a freelance writer.

I’ve lost my marriage, lost my home, and lost my mind. But I keep crawling back up, so there must be something there.

About the blog: Finding Summer is me stepping away from my old “mommyblogging” norm. This blog is about my journey at finding myself, exploring possibilities, and accepting my own quirks. There are personal posts about my new life, posts about minimalism and living in an RV, and a sprinkling of ranting and raving when it is necessary.
